In the chart on page 22 when bot the birth rate and Death rate are up the total population will be low because even though there are more and more kids being born there are more dying. Thats is called Stage 1: Preindustrial. Stage 2:Transitional is when death rates fall dramatically and the birth rates stay high. this causes the RNI to rise rapidly. The reason death rates may go down is because the health and modern medicine is improving. Next for a country is Stage 3:Transitional is when death rates fall it takes time for people to slow down in birth rates so it begins to drop but, all those births made the population grow. Stage 4:Industrial it is a very low RNI from results of low birthrates and very low death rates. As a result, there is very little natural population increase. Many professionals use this to predict other countries and their growth rates.
In Class we looked at others homework and compared the countries they did. *When a chart is big at the bottom and narrows and makes a good pyramid it usually means they are a developing country. Countries were it is affordable most families don't have that many children but countries were people can not afford to feed families well they have many children. We have homework to read pg 22 and summerize what you read
